Armin Veh, the former manager of VfB Stuttgart, is celebrating his 70th birthday today. Veh is a Stuttgart legend, having led the club to the Bundesliga title in 2007. He also won the DFB-Pokal with Stuttgart in 2004.

Veh was born in Augsburg, Germany, in 1952. He began his playing career with FC Augsburg, before moving to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 1978. Veh played for Mönchengladbach for 10 years, winning the Bundesliga title in 1979 and the DFB-Pokal in 1984.

After retiring from playing, Veh began his coaching career with FC Augsburg in 1990. He led Augsburg to promotion to the 2. Bundesliga in 1994, before moving to VfB Stuttgart in 1998.

Veh was in charge of Stuttgart for two spells, from 1998 to 2000 and from 2006 to 2008. He won the Bundesliga title with Stuttgart in 2007, and the DFB-Pokal in 2004.

After leaving Stuttgart, Veh went on to manage Hamburger SV, Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart again. He is currently the manager of SV Sandhausen in the 2. Bundesliga.

Veh is a highly respected figure in German football. He is known for his attacking style of play and his ability to get the best out of his players. Veh is a true Stuttgart legend, and his 70th birthday is a reminder of the great success he has achieved with the club.
