Druskininkai's AQUA Health and Recreation Center Now Accessible to Individuals with Disabilities

The AQUA Health and Recreation Center in Druskininkai has announced that it has made significant accessibility improvements to better accommodate individuals with disabilities.

The center has installed ramps, widened doorways, and added accessible restrooms throughout the facility. Additionally, the water park's pool has been equipped with a hydraulic lift system that allows guests with limited mobility to enter and exit the water safely.

"We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our guests," said AQUA's general manager, Tomas Kučinskas. "These accessibility upgrades will ensure that individuals with disabilities have the same opportunity to enjoy our water park and other amenities as everyone else."

The accessibility improvements have been praised by local disability rights advocates, who have long called for better access to public spaces in Druskininkai.

"This is a significant step forward for our community," said Lina Žilinskienė, president of the Druskininkai Disability Rights Association. "We are grateful to AQUA for taking the initiative to make their facility more accessible, and we hope that other businesses will follow their example."
